Remission

New! From 1 July 2024, buyers of properties up to € 500,000 (per person!) can be exempt from land register and lien registration fees (1.1 percent of the purchase price or 1.2 percent of the lien value). This applies to purchase contracts from April 2024 onwards, and applications for entry in the land register must be submitted between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2026. The exemption requires the registration of the main residence in the purchased property and the abandonment of the previous apartment.
